The new face of the house of books

The newly renovated premises of Henryk Sienkiewicz Książnica Pruszkowska Library are already waiting for books!

Książnica Pruszkowska is the oldest cultural institution in the city and one of the oldest public libraries in Mazovia. The library in Pruszków is among the largest in the Mazovia region: it is the house of over 200,000 volumes of collected book stock, serving over 10,000 regular readers.

During a two-year reconstruction project, the facility was fully renovated. The library was integrated with the reading room, the social facilities were renovated and the bathrooms were adapted to meet the needs of the disabled.

Solutions applied

The renovated rooms were completely filled with our furniture, most of which was tailor-made to suit the project. It is bright, colourful and cheerful. The refurbished Library offers, among other things, reading areas, a children's corner and new computer workstations. The use of acoustic features (totems, ceiling panels) has increased the comfort of both users and staff.

Pouffes

Geometric, minimalistic cubic or cylindrical forms are a versatile accessory for any interior. The pouffes are both sturdy and lightweight, allowing for a quick change of arrangement, and the ‘feet' or castors (with ABS cover) prevent scratching of the floor.
